junior designers wanting to get into brand design

What would you recommend to a senior design student who wishes to break out into branding. Ive done three projects in school were branding is the focus. One was a project where we created the entire brand strategy, including touchpoints, identity, store fronts, etc....I loved it. Any suggestions would be great!
